teams

the lead team is the core administrative team of edges. this is the space where high-level conversations happen about the overall direction God is calling the community as well as conversations that keep the community moving forward on a daily basis.

the theo team (short for theology) heads all spiritual development at edges. in this team, the edges pastor discusses sermon series and ideas, sermon and service feedback is given and discussed, and sermons both by the lead pastor and other members of the theo team are crafted and refined.

the reach team is a group of behind-the-scenes folks who handle all of the non-theology pieces of the community including building and worship aesthetics, volunteer team coordination, visitor connection, and support of worship and other events.

the technology group runs various audio/visual aspects of church services including: creating and running slides, running the live stream, assisting the musicians with sound set up, and designing and running lighting.

first impressions team members welcome folks on sunday mornings and also ensure the space feels clean, tidy, and welcoming. This team also asks people to wear name tags so we can call each other by name.

gathering grounds offers hospitality to the community by serving coffee and treats during worship conversations.

early risers spend time preparing our communion bread every week. they make sure to use a special mix that is gluten free with the hope that it allows us all to participate from one loaf.

the set-up and take-down crew prepares our multipurpose space for worship each week and puts everything back after the worship conversations.

edges kids volunteers serve in our kids program to ensure that our kids have a thoughtful and meaningful experience.
